As part of a larger project to design the interior of a coffee shop inside a shopping center we also looked at the branding as this was important in deciding how the interior would look in terms of materials, finishes, furniture etc.
A more urban appearance with a strong simplistic identity was the preferred direction. ‘The Real Coffee Co.’ was the name given to the Cafe as the intention behind the business was to serve ‘real’ quality coffee which is something other competitors failed to deliver. The name and the icon emphasises this helping to create an honest brand.
